In a major security breach, the transaction data of "almost all" Pakistani banks has been leaked. This surfaced after Pakistan's FIA made a leading news outlet.
As a result, almost 10 public sector and private banks have barred Pakistanis from making international transactions using credit and debit cards. As per security firm krebsonsecurity, the accounts of more than 8,000 users have been targeted and sold in the black market.
In relation to this, a gang of thugs - pretending to be Army officials - has been busted for misusing these stolen details to withdraw money.
