Scientists from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology of Saudi Arabia have invented paper based sensors which can monitor blood sugar levels by measuring glucose concentrations in saliva.
According to the Reuters, the sensors are sensitive to sugar concentrations in biofluids and were created using inkjet technology by using a commercial ink made from conducting polymers.
FEATURE:
- Pain Free
- Non Invasive alternative to measure blood sugar level
- Helping diabetics monitor their glucose levels without drawing blood
