Xiaomi has announced Mi Pay for India. The company has collaborated with ICICI Bank and PayU to launch its mobile payments in the country. currently it is only available for beta users.
Xiaomi said that user generated data will be kept in a encrypted format. Users have to enter the UPI PIN or the virtual payments address to send and receive money.
If you want to register for Mi Pay, you need to have a Xiaomi smartphone running on the MIUI BETA ROM. Stable ROM users have to wait for release of Mi Pay.
